I put together a few items that would be perfect for your parent’s or in-laws or special people in your life. These are all items that are great to have and will be so relaxing or thoughtful! One of my favorites is the foot massager from Amazon. This is such a great gift that anyone will love. Also, anything to do with cooking is always a good gift and will go to great use. I found this pizza stone to make homemade pizzas and thought it would be so nice to give to your parents or in-laws.
The 2020 Men’s Gift Guide is here! It can be really hard to shop for the men in your life, but Michael and I rounded up some really nice (and a few funny) products that he would really like! One of the more unusual items is this breakfast sandwich maker! It makes the perfect breakfast sandwich and cooks everything at once and you can put whatever you want in it! Another item is this bacon cooking mug! You put the bacon around the edges of the mug and it cooks the bacon perfectly! Check out below for the rest of the items for men! The secret is out! Michael and I are expecting our second baby! We are so thrilled to add another member to our family, and Julian is so excited to have a younger sibling. We can not wait to watch them grow together and create memories as a family of four! We are due in March 2021 and cannot believe we will soon be parents of TWO! We recently went to Florida for a week-long vacation. It was so nice to get away for a while to just relax, hang at the pool, and reset! We flew down to Florida and stayed in Orlando at the Four Seasons there. It was so nice to get a change of scenery and the resort was beautiful. We loved sitting by the pool, playing in the water, and dining at their amazing restaurants.

Where we stayed
We stayed at the Four Seasons Orlando and it was incredible! They were taking so many safety precautions and the resort was pretty empty so it was really nice. We especially loved the pool- so did Julian! They had so many fun water toys, splash pads, and a lazy river- which we enjoyed too! We would definitely recommend staying here. It is also really close to Disney. We didn’t go to the parks this trip, but we did eat dinner there and also went to a character breakfast! Julian really liked seeing all the characters, but unfortunately they can’t touch or take photos with you, which was a bummer! It was still really fun to be in the Disney atmosphere, but hopefully sometime soon things will be more back to normal there!

These restaurants were very good! We loved the Italian at Ravello and had some amazing meals there. Plus there were other spots to grab a quick bite to eat or a coffee!

Most of our time was spent sitting by the pool each day so it was pretty hard to leave that set-up to do anything else! But some other days we also took a walk around Disney Springs. It was crazy to see it so empty- but they were being so safe with everything. The weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed walking around and shopping here. We also went into the Disney store and Julian got some Finding Nemo/Dory stuffed animals, which he loved. Overall, it was such a fun trip to have quality time as a family and just relax!

I think everyone agrees, making s’mores is one of the best and most nostalgic summer activities! It is so fun and so many memories are made around the fire. The classic s’more is SO GOOD but there are so many fun different s’mores you can try too. The combinations are endless. Here are a few fun summer s’mores we tried-perfect for the Fourth of July! Bring these to a campfire and your friends will love it! If you don’t have s’more sticks try these! I also used this cutting board and layered tray to display all the ingredients! Reeses Peanut Butter Cup
For this s’more you will need:
- Graham Cracker
- Marshmallow
- One large Reeses Cup
This one is so easy! Just replace your classic piece of chocolate for a Reeses Cup and you will love it! Can’t really go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate!
Chocolate Strawberry
For this s’more you will need
- Strawberries thinly sliced
- Graham Crackers
- Marshmallow
- Hershey’s Chocolate square
This s’more adds in a slice or two of strawberry! These are so good and the little bit of fruit is such a tasty touch!
Brownie Brittle & Chocolate Chip Cookie
This s’more basically replaces the graham cracker with two pieces of brownie brittle or two chocolate chip cookies!

Gallery walls are so beautiful and I have loved seeing them sprout up around the Internet lately. It is a great way to showcase a lot of family photos all in one place while still creating a nicely designed space. We filmed a video about how to create a DIY gallery wall and you can check it out here. Instead of ordering a whole kit, we ordered the frame set we liked, white matting, and then manually measured and hung the frames. This will save a lot of money as the gallery wall kits can be super expensive!
We decided that a nice neutral gallery wall would be the perfect addition to our home. We wanted to originally put them in the playroom or above the couch but decided to put them in the entryway as it would fill that wall space nicely. Additionally, we knew we would want to have enough space to show off the pictures and space them out properly. So, we picked these frames from IKEA linked here, because we loved how the frame was super neutral and large.
For the matting, I created the look myself. Deciding to create a DYI gallery wall was definitely the way to go. We picked matting that would create a lot of white space for our 5 by 7 photos. We wanted there to be a lot of white surrounding each picture because it gave it a very nice clean look, which was exactly what we were looking for in this space. I bought the matting from Amazon. It came in whole sheets, the size of our frames, but without a hole in it for the photos. So, I just used double-sided tape to tape the photo into the middle of the matting. Then we inserted the matting with the photo into the frames. It was pretty easy to do!
To hang the photos, we measured out on our wall where to place each of the frames. We hung them from left to right and top to bottom. This part takes a little patience!
Then you are done, and have a beautiful gallery wall to enjoy!

Outdoor Movie Night for the Family
Another idea for summer backyard fun, is to set up an outdoor movie theater. This portable screen from Amazon is really nice, easy to put up and at an amazing price point. This projector is great for outside as well as it does not need to be plugged in. Bring out some cute popcorn containers, blankets, and pillows, hang some string lights and have a seat on the grass! Or if you’re looking to get some new patio furniture this set is pretty affordable and would be perfect for daytime use and movie viewing parties! This is something fun and different and kids of any age will love it! Even your teenagers will think it is so cool, they will want to invite all their friends to watch movies at your house! Since summer nights in the backyard are limited, make the most of the beautiful weather and enjoy!
